AN IMPORTANT NEWS UPDATE ON MEDICATION PRICING AND PBMS

As your locally owned community pharmacy, we are constantly fighting for equitable medication pricing for you the consumer and for us as a local independent pharmacy.

House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer has launched a government investigation into the practice of PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Manager) mandated pricing that typically benefits drug and insurance companies and corporate chains, but often comes at the expense of consumers like you and small locally owned pharmacies like ours.

This government-led investigation is a step in the right direction to stop these inequitable and unsustainable PBM practices, but it takes consumer and independent pharmacy action to fight and demand change to these corporate interested pricing systems.

We encourage you to become informed and reach out to our state and regional representatives. Every voice matters to stop this abusive practice.
